NY DJ Alex English and long time techno producer Dan Physics have joined forces to form Disko Dali.

Though they’ve known eachother since the nineties they have recently began producing together. Their first release is a remix of “No One Sleeps When I’m Awake” by The Sounds. We know their also working on some original tunes but we’re not at liberty to discuss that just yet.

We decided to remix “No One Sleeps When I’m Awake” in a style very true to the original. We’re heavily influenced by Yazoo and New Order, so we set out to combine their many influence into a frame work that worked. We’re less about bangers, bells and whistles …. more about sound design, arrangement and music … straying away from the usual banger epic.
