Every day we receive a gazillion and one audio tunes and we can’t possibly feature them all … but it wouldn’t be fair to deprive your ears of their magic!
We’re going back in time…to underground tribal house. Roger Sanchez’s annual mix of dancefloor tunes “Release Yourself” is now available, and he claims that this year’s compilation is the closest to his heart yet. Here’s a free download from the 13th annual compilation, Chris Count’s “What We Gonna Do” (Boom Chack Mix). This track is from the “Party” section of the grouping of songs, which has been split into 2 sections, the other being “Pre-Party.”
On another note, we can’t remember the last time we posted a track with male vocals. “Another” by Seekae, a Sydney electronica trio whose Facebook profile picture resembles someone from The Hangover, is a smooth new track to be released tomorrow on Future Classic. We are very down with these sounds and are sure you’ll feel the same.
Let’s get jazzy with it. Michael Menert’s newest creation “CHIC Ago” was made in Chicago, for Chicago, with records he bought in Chicago…so does that make it, Chicagian electro-soul space-jazz? Whatever it is, we like it, and can appreciate anything released on the mega-label Pretty Lights Music.
