Watch out, Beethoven, because there are some new composers in town that are about to blow your mind. Composers of electro-house, that is. Ten days after a not-so-subtle tweet showing a spread of violin sheet music, Dada Life has released an orchestral version of their huge dance track, “So Young So High.”
Recorded in Stockholm, Sweden in December, the Dada Philharmonic‘s rendition of SYSH will leave you utterly speechless, possibly with a tear in your eye. Considering the two other official remixes of the tune by Dillon Francis and Andybody, the Dada Philharmonic version takes the cake for being the most unique. We have also discovered who provided the vocals for So Young So High: Stefan and Olle, after inhaling half a balloon’s worth of helium. The small orchestra of about 25, not including the Dada duo, captured that high energy of “So Young So High” and in our opinion, totally nailed the drop.
With this new addition of the Dada Philharmonic, we will definitely be taking a vacation to Dada Land. There are no rules but the Rules of Dada in Dada Land, which include the following, from what we can tell:
1. Arrive beautiful, leave ugly.
2. Don’t have a barbecue before the club. After is fine.
3. Don’t bring your brain into the club.
4. Don’t look back into the past.
5. Always go forward.
6. Whatever you do, don’t trust Dada Life.
7. Do the f*cking Dada!
Also also…
All the gyms in Dada Land will play 90:s ambient in the showers and not this pan flute crap. #dadaland
