Kindly throw away your previous notions of what an appropriate, sensible music video looks like. Jake Stanczak, or Kill The Noise, has certainly “stepped outside the box,” to put it lightly, with his graphic new music video for BLVCK MVGIC (Kill The Noise Pt. 2). Not only did KTN step outside the box, but he’s actually launched himself into space and is half way to Jupiter by now.
The drum & bass track itself matches the ferocity of the video, and is just eerie-sounding enough to make you think we’ve moved Halloween from October to February. The song was released on OWSLA in early November anyway, so it makes sense that Kill The Noise was feeling that Day-of-the-Dead vibe.
Of course, we wouldn’t expect a KTN video to be any less gory, coming from a producer whose logo is an image of a demonic skeleton head. Fortunately, we now know just what that skeleton is thinking about: the most violent clay pilgrims we have ever seen. Watch above, but only if you’re bold enough to handle animated carnage.
