They say that beauty is only skin deep, but according to the new video from Black Devil Disco Club for “My Screen” (featuring Nicolas Ker of Poni Hoax) it looks like identity just chills right there on the surface.

Maybe the video is trying to say that we all walk around with our emotional cuts and bruises more exposed than we think. Maybe it’s trying to say that, though we all have different personal histories, we are all the same–interchangeable even–at our cores. Maybe it’s trying to say that we should watch where we walk because could be random rabid cats crouched and ready to attack the living hell out of our faces at every turn. We don’t know.
