In their new video for “Evil Boy,” South African too-psychotic-to-be-real, too-good-to-be-fake rap group Die Antwoord make a surprisingly insightful commentary on the media’s toxic perpetuation of the idea of America’s geopolitical dominance as a rationalization for international social injustices, expressed through reinterpretations of pervasive artistic themes from the Romantic Period.
