2009 is rushing to a close but before that happens I’d like for us all to take a moment to remember what made (or didn’t make) this year special.

We’ve compiled a handful of categories and want you, the reader, to nominate the best in each category!

Nominations will be open till December 18, 2009. At that point we will post the top 5 nominations in each category and let the final voting begin!

A lot of people have asked us why we’re polling and the answer is two fold. First, it allows us the opportunity to know what you, the reader, is into and thus better serve you in the future. Secondly, it’s a good way for us to check out the artists you’ve suggested that we’ve never heard of!
