We love it when artists release several video treatments for a song because it forces us to have a different experience with a track that we are already familiar with.

Moby just released another video for his most recent single, “One Time We Lived“. This time around Mark Pellington, a close friend of Moby’s, made the video.

A few months ago I was talking to my friend Mark Pellington and asked him to make a short film/video for the song “One Time We Lived’. The only condition was that I wanted him to make something artistic and personal, without any concerns for whether or not it would ever actually get played on TV.

He’s made a very personal and very emotional video, and I love it. He shot it on his home video-camera, which is in keeping with the nature of the album, which was recorded in my bedroom. I hope you like what he’s made, and I hope that you appreciate the honesty and the beauty in his short film/video as much as I do.
