Together is a week long festival taking place across Boston and Cambridge celebrating Music, Art and Technology.

Princess Nokia
Princess Nokia is a musical collaboration between Destiny Ortiz and Christopher Lare. The pair met through a mutual friend and began to working together in early 2013. Looking to build a new genre, while embracing existing subgenres, PRINCESS NOKIA has created a neo-futuristic sound that is both relevant and avant garde. They released their 1st independent album, “”METALLIC BUTTERFLY,”” in May of 2014. The album has since received critical acclaim in both the underground and mainstream. Media outlets Fader and Vice both gave rave reviews. Their sound comes inspired by 90’s Rave, Drum & Bass, with a nod to the raw New York & U.K. underground. “”METALLIC BUTTERFLY”” offers a diverse fusion of Trip Hop, Jungle, Adult Contemporary, Cute-Core, Grime, R&B & Afro Latin House. Latent, yet lyrically honest, with a creative approach their music continues to set them apart and attract a rapidly growing fanbase.

Mr. Mitch
As the founder of fast rising record label Gobstopper Records and co-founder of club-night, now also record label Boxed, he’s a curator and auteur at the forefront of forward thinking instrumental grime, ambient and experimental electronic music. He’s currently signed to Planet Mu as a solo artist working on the follow up to his critically acclaimed debut LP ‘Parallel Memories’. As a producer/co-writer he has worked with grime stalwarts Skepta, P-Money and more recently with r&b/electronic star Katy B. He is fast becoming a go-to producer/writer outside of the instrumental grime sphere. Mr. Mitch is steadily, but forcefully pushing the boundaries of electronic music and pop culture in a way only he does, releasing his second album on Planet Mu in April 2017. It’s about love, loyalty, family and the start and end of relationships, with an overarching theme about becoming a father, all delivered with warmth and emotion. Miles even sings and so does his eldest son Milo on one track. About the theme he says, “we all know the stereotype of the black dad with multiple children from multiple partners who is absent from the child’s life, we see it consistently in popular culture. I want to champion the alternative, which to me is just normal.” As well as being a producer Miles is the co-founder of the Boxed nights, which have been a tight incubator of a music scene dedicated in the main to re-thinking and expanding what grime means, especially instrumental grime. Mitch has always taken it further than most in a unique direction, defining his music led by his own personality rather than deferring to a scene consensus. An early example was his development of ‘peace edits’ in response to the aggressive ‘war dubs’ craze amongst other grime producers, around the time of his first album.

Star Eyes
The name Star Eyes is synonymous with raw underground bass music. A founding member of the world-renowned Trouble & Bass crew, this NYC bat girl causes mayhem around the world with DJ sets and original tracks that swiftly connect the dots between regional American bass sounds and the hardcore continuum—though her style moves across eras and genres, her aesthetic is continually inspired by jungle, old-skool hardcore, and the warehouse parties in which she was raised. Star Eyes is based in Brooklyn, New York, where she runs Chaos Clan—a record label and monthly party. She is also an alumni of Red Bull Music Academy, a radio host on RBMA Radio, and a noted music journalist and curator whose work has appeared in XLR8R, VICE, Spin, and beyond. She has played at EDC, Sonar, Fabric, Rinse FM, and at music festivals from Camp Bisco to Burning Man. With world-class skills and a troublemaker’s attitude to match, Star Eyes has definitely earned the title “Brooklyn’s queen of heavy bass.”
