For the first time ever, FNT was held outside of NYC and in the middle of SXSW ’14! This was one event that you definitely should not have missed! Between fights there were performances by sword swallowers, aerialists and MOBB DEEP!

This is how it went down. We had the option to call it a night at midnight and get a full night of sleep. Instead we opted to throw ourselves in front of one of the few cabs available in all of Austin. Convinced him to take us to South Austin Gym on Manchaca Road which we later find out is about 30 minutes from downtown in a car. Halfway there we ask the cab driver how we can get home from the fight club and he just started laughing and explained that we were essentially going to have to spend the night there.

As soon as we pulled up people swarmed the cab for a ride back downtown and we walked into the gym. I’m always surprised when I go to a party outside of NYC and the room is filled with familiar faces. Mess Kid was on decks, people were punching each-other in the face for fun and tall-boy beers were only $3 bucks!

Several hours later as the sun was coming up we all emerged out into the parking lot. Eventually we found a person nice enough to give us a ride back downtown.
