MIX TAPE: Øya Festival Mix Tape

Oya 2010 Festival

We don’t know about you guys, but we haven’t quiiiiiite saved up the frequent flier miles to jet off to Norway for this year’s Øya Festival in a few weeks. Luckily, we can now at least experience the music from the comfort of our air-conditioning, thanks to the totally FREE Øya Festival Mixtape.

Are we pleased about missing the festival? Hell no. Do the sweet sounds of Marina and the Diamonds, Yeasayer, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, and Fool’s Gold make this sickening NYC summer heat a little bit better? Ø, YA! (We’re here all week, folks…)

Download the killer mix tape below!

And for those of you who want the authentic festival experience (y’know; the sweating, the body odor, the grimy bodies all packed together, the people screaming unintelligible nonsense), just load up the tracks onto your ipod and go stand on the subway.
