DFA Legend Juan MacLean is bringing back the spirit of house music.
His new DJ Kicks Mix is “a love letter to straight-up house music” recorded using two turntables and a microphone a couple of filters and a tape delay!
The mix features a wide assortment of tracks, from new and exclusives, like Juan MacLeans “Feel So Good” featuring vocals from DFA member Nancey Whang, to old school classics, like Armando‘s “Don’t Take It,” which dates back to 1988. Aside from providing over an hours worth of fance tunes, the mix is well worth a listen if you want to learn about the origins of the house music you know and love today!
