These retro, faux spectacles were designed by Gilbert & George for the Gilbert & George exhibition at San Francisco’s de Young Museum.
We love them because they make us LOL (in a good way!). They’ve been modeled after George’s actual glasses, and if you should get thirsty, or just want some gin, there is a tiny gin bottle tag attached to the clasp on the necklace etched with the Gilbert & George signature. What? You don’t think there’s really gin in there?
FYI The glasses are actual size and the lenses are clear acrylic.
