Usually the stuff I like to bump before I go out has to get me hyped, something that I can really turn up. One thing many people don’t know about me is that my father was born and raised in Ealing, London, so as a teen I was lucky enough to visit relatives and experience special things like Metalheadz night at Blue Note circa 1995, and seeing DJ’s at The End. During a visit in the fall of 2000 I remember tuning into 88.4 Ice FM and it blew my mind. I immediately went record shopping and sifted thru hundreds of 2 step/garage records to find ones like these. Most of them were white labels with just some marker scribble on them! enjoy!
