The original concept for this mix was to use tracks from artists that are scheduled for the New Years Eve 2008 Rhythm and Vines Festival in Gisbourne, New Zealand. For those of you who haven’t heard of it yet, its a 3 day music festival set in the hilly vineyards of Gisbourne, a sleepy town on the East Coast of New Zealand. What makes Gizzy the spot for such a massive event is the fact that it’s the first place in the world to see the sunrise. Which means that if you are there for the New Years festival, you get to experience the New Year before anyone else in the world. This is our third consecutive year down there.
