Every Saturday night, MatchaBar’s alter-ego comes out of hiding. Ceremony Room is a music-oriented speakeasy occupying MatchaBar’s 93 Wythe Avenue space.

In the heart of Williamsburg’s music and nightlife community, Ceremony Room is an intimate alternative for music and mingling, a hidden gem amidst the mega clubs and venues in the area. Ceremony Room is a 50-75 person capacity-space with a full sound system, live music back line, DJ booth, and small dance floor.

Behind closed curtains, it will host a wide variety of musical performances — from DJ’s to jazz and rock bands — often partnering with local music “curators” for showcases and listening parties. Doors are at 8pm, and last call is 1:45am. Entry is based on doorman’s discretion.

On October 18th we celebrated Ceremony Room’s grand opening, with a very special live performance and DJ sets from some of New York’s young musical tastemakers. A selection of beer, wine and sake, and of course, MatchaBar matcha were served!
