Back when we were young, our idea of fun was linking Gameboys, smoking cinnamon sticks, and hoping that the weather would be nice enough over the weekend that our parents would drive us to Six Flags. Nowadays, kids are breaking into buildings, graffiting walls, terrorizing subway patrons, and–if you’re 20-year-old glitchstep prodigy Unicorn Kid–making music that sounds like the Gameboy games they’re barely old enough to remember.

But rather than shake our fists at these hoodlums, we’re hopping on board with this new video for “Pure Space” and celebrating these young creatives in all their free-spirited, weirdo, 8-bit glory.
