Syd & Fan after sold out show at the Knitting Factory in New York City.

Long time friend of NickyDigital.com, Syd is putting out a new album on April 24 titled The Way We Found It. I got my hands on a couple of a couple of tracks—one’s a dancy/poppy song about drunk dialing (woooooops!) and the other is a darker/moodier song called Front Lines about a friend that died in Iraq… He recorded it in the woods of Vermont during maple syrup season last year before moving to Brooklyn. It’s a pretty impressive amount of growth for a guy that used to be a coffeehouse act!
