PREVIEW: Jack Daniel’s Motel No. 7

Tonight Jack Daniel’s rolls out its five-city tour of Motel 7 in a warehouse in Greenpoint, BK. The on-the-road concept is a two-day, two-story, 35,000-square-foot take on a motel experience between a rock band’s gigs. It features an indoor pool, deck and cabanas; a game room; a recording studio; a donut shop; a makeover salon; a royal suite; a hidden speakeasy; and T-Pain headlining mainstage. It even has a chapel in which Andrew WK will be officiating (real) weddings (really!). There’s also a dozen themed hotel rooms and explorations guided by 50 hosts.

On Tuesday night Mirrorball introduced me to one of them, Jake the Janitor @JakeTheJanitor. He snuck me into his office and few other rooms during the install – here’s a peek.

(Both nights of the NYC launch are at capacity. But the tour continues, in 2016, with gigs  in Miami, Austin, Los Angeles and Chicago.)

Last night @JakeTheJanitor gave me a sneak peak of the madness that is #MotelNo7 which opens tonight in Greenpoint!
