DAILY STREAM: Tom Piper, Bart B More, and a special announcement from our friends at Trouble & Bass! August 1, 2013 Edition!

Every day we receive a gazillion and one audio tunes and we can’t possibly feature them all … but it wouldn’t be fair to deprive your ears of their magic!

We can welcome Day 4 of yet another work week with some vibe-y music courtesy of Tom Piper. Released on Strictly Rhythm, Piper’s remix of “Boom Boom (Heartbeat)” by Ray Foxx ft. Rachel K Collier is deeper, infused with more house & bass than the original  track. Listen to the original followed by Tom Piper’s version below.

Released this past Tuesday on OWSLA, the “Napoleon Saga” EP by Bart B More is a musical treat. We can’t deny the unique beauty of Bart B’s piercing signature tones, and neither can his fans. He’s played lately in New York City, California, and his home base of Utrecht, Netherlands. Hence the name of the EP, the only 2 tracks on it are called “Napoleon” and “Saga“…

We’re thrilled to share that one of our fave local labels have announced their most recent endeavor. Trouble & Bass bring us “filthy, raw, jack traxx for the club” via a series called “TWERKNO.” We’re thinking this new mix series is in celebration of T&B’s 7th anniversary this September. It appears that TWERKNO will be putting out new mixes at least once per week, and Volume 1 features 2 new tracks, “Dominos” by Drop the Lime and “Veuve 80” by Acid Jacks. Hip-hop & bass followed by a tech/acid-house themed track make for a solid primary series edition. We’re looking forward to next week.
