Cobra Krames on his mix:

I wanted to start the mix with a tune that really describes the point of Nicky Digital’s website and nightlife culture. People hanging out and going out at night, doing things you really can’t do during the day. I picked that tune “Nice N Sleazy” cause i thought it went well with taking pictures for the camera phone, taking nice n’ sleazy pictures ya know? The Smiths tune is classic and reminds me of Morrissey Night at Sway, which is a New York staple.

The next couple of tunes just fit right into the theme of the mixtape, which is nightlife and what can happen after dark. Next is a great tune by The Comsat Angels, it really describes what can happen at the end of the night when you’ve been getting to know each other and its finally time to decide “Will You Stay Tonight?”

“Tell No One About Tonight” is the perfect description of just hooking up with someone and not having any strings attached, just for the one night. The club section represents what going on in New York at the parties that I go to and Nicky photographs at, lots of different music gets played throughout the night, esp. at some of the smaller parties during the week.

After a few more classic night-themed classics that really sum up what its like to go out, get your picture taken, hook up, get some drinks and maybe even fall in love with those “Angel Eyes”, I put The Kinks tune on which represents how much it really costs to go out in NY and have a good time. The last track on the mix really hits home, especially with summer setting into the city so heavy, who doesn’t just want to “rock and roll all night and party every day”!!!!

  1. Well, that may sound a bit cocky as a matter of fact but one thing we should take into note is that everyone has their say and so did she. I think the album is really staggering especially with the kind of beats ad background music Felix Cartal has come up with. Anyway, I am looking forward to get the song in iTunes because I have literally tried everywhere to download this song but could not come up with one Minecraft for free
